Yugi finally hears the story of how the Millennium Puzzle was obtained decades ago at the King’s Chamber in the Valley of the Kings by his grandfather. In the days when Sugoroku was younger, he entered the King’s Chamber, evaded past many dangerous traps, and proceeded deep within. However, he met with trouble because of his guide’s betrayal. The phantom of the Pharaoh appeared and saved Sugoroku. When Sugoroku awoke once again, the Millennium Puzzle was in his hands.
Back to the present, Yugi decides to go to Egypt in order to search for the Other Yugi’s memories. On the eve of their departure, the two ascertained their bonds with each other. However, the three God Cards and the Millennium Items have been stolen…
